Oh God yes. I felt like I was loosing my mind when I traded my 4040 Deere off. I bought that one brand new just before our oldest son was born. I didn't feel too bad until I told everybody that night that I traded it off. Everybody was just kind of quiet and looked hurt.
That one was the worst, but there have been plenty of others. I had a Deere 730 diesel electric start that I wish I'd have kept for a collector tractor. I really regret selling the Oliver 77 that I drove home from Archbold Ohio and the 88 diesel that I bought down there. I got rid of what was left of Dad's 66. We had taken the motor out of it and put it in a Super 55 with a cracked head. I traded a Super 55 off on a 1550,wish I'd have kept that and paid full price for the 1550. I've said many a time that I'd never get rid of another tractor,but........I'm working on a deal to trade the last Deere that I have for another Oliver,so I guess that's a promise to myself that I won't keep.
