I have several old style milk room heaters and kind of hate the big clunky things. That big tin cabinet, the red hot wire heating element and the whimpy fan that makes more noise than air movement.
I trashed a couple of the most junky ones and bought a couple little "Comfort Zone " brand heaters from TSC. Only about 6 inches square, has a ceramic 1500 watt heating element that runs much cooler /safer than the hot wire type and has a much stronger fan. $15 on sale, $20 regular. I would never go back to the clunky old style milk room heater. All have the plastic cord that will crack if you bend them when very cold.
