I suppose I should have said the last 7 years. Your long term and mine aren't the same. If I had bought silver 7 years ago. which I didn't. (Why would you buy into an inflationary bubble anyway.) I would have been very disappointed today. I guess if you plan to keep it for the rest of your life it will probably go back up. The old adage of buy low and sell high is how you make money.
