In the south, soda pop is coke, Cocola is a Coca Cola. I've been trying to cut down on my root beer. I get the "keg style" in the brown box at wally's-mart. I'd get A&W if it was priced competitive with the store brand. Used to know a guy who drove for North American Van Lines, hauled Pepsi out of their plant to a warehouse. They had to go by a scale, and when hauling Mountain Dew they figured an extra half hour to get pulled around to get the company an overweight ticket. All loads had the same number of cases in it. Mountain Dew was something like 1500 pounds heavier than anything else because of the sugar in it. One of the guys who drove there drank nothing but M/D. He went in for a fairly simple procedure, when he came to, found out he was going to be dumping in a bag the rest of his life. They touched his intestine and it just fell apart.
