Need to use the M flywheel and clutch if the 47 liftall pump is in the center housing. If using the 400 flywheel a SM clutch and pressure plate is needed. Then you would need a liftall out of a late m or SM to clear the 12 inch pressure plate. Need to install a M type throttle lever in the 400 governor or install the complete M governor. ventilation line needs run from the top of the 400 valve cover to the air cleaner inlet where the M was. If using the 400 carburetor the choke rod needs bent to work on the engine side of the carburetor. If not using the 400 hydraulic pump a ignition drive housing from some 50 model M up or a SM. 47 housing has a different bolt pattern than a 400 front plate and cover is the reason for the change. That should be about it unless I forgot something.
