That reminds me about a tale my dad and uncle told me about our neighbour Sid. many years ago he bought a new David Brown tractor ( I forget what model) and Oh there never was a tractor made like this DB, it was absolutely wonderful and he never failed to tell all and sundry about his new purchase. In fact the locals in the pub had to know about his new pride and joy. He even convinced his friend Joe to buy a tractor just like his. Well Joe bought one and to be honest, he thought it was crap! So much so that he went to visit Sid on his farm to tell him in no uncertain exactly what he thought to it, only to find Sid sitting on a brand new MF 35! he had just traded the DB in for it "I"ve changed my mind!" said Sid "This is a much better tractor!"

Today's Featured Article - Product Review: Black Tire Paint - by Staff. I have been fortunate in that two of my tractors have had rear tires that were in great shape when I bought the tractor. My model "H" even had the old style fronts with plenty of tread. My "L" fronts were mismatched Sears Guardsman snow tires, which I promptly tossed.
