Hey in mechanics defence the scanners or laptop they plug in to your truck , tractor , semi ext... Just gives the mechanic a general area to check for problem its not an exact specific pin point ... Sometimes its a loose transistor it transformer in the printed circuit board that only acts up at a specific moment going over bumps only when its damp only when every electronic device is on and loads that circuit its not always as simple as replace light bulb over barn door and everything is fine ....
