It will be a great truck, I had a 2006 with the 5.7 hemi, pulled everything I ever needed it to pull, pulling Wont be a problem, the gas mileage on the 2006 isn't as good as my 2012 but it also doesn't have the 3rd generation hemi, and its 345hp instead of 390hp, but you should get around 8-10 pulling and 13-15 just driving it which isn't terrible, gears will affect it, if it has 3:73 it will be better, if it has 4:10s like my old one it will be what I mentioned, the 4:10s will pull better, but it will be a good truck you won't be disappointed.
