I balked on the price of the chains for a few years til one day I was pushing snow one the tractor started sliding. Slow at first but it quickly picked up speed. It finally stopped about 50 yards down the drive perfectly straddling the front bumper of my truck. As the shock set in I got to calculating the cost of all the parts if it had went another foot. I went to tire chain.com and ordered a nice set of duo tracs and by all accounts figure I got off cheap! Didn't calculate the price of my shorts...
