Around here, on bad weather days, the Superintendent goes out and drives the country roads between 4am and 5am to determine if school will be delayed 2 hours or Canceled. I believe our district runs 11 or 12 buses. Two to three hundred riders. I don't want his job in making the call. Putting that many KIDS at risk is a BIG decision. A decision that could cost a childs life or legal action against the district. I glad I'm not the "idiot" that has to make that decision. jmho gobble
