Jay, Thats a long ways to transport wood from the pile to the stove. I had enough of that ##it last winter and built an attached woodshed on the end of my shop this summer where the wood boiler is, and filled it to the rafters this summer. 16.5 cord. I went over the half empty point last Wed. I don't even have to go out from under a roof to get wood for the boiler anymore. Built this wood cart to wheel it into the shop. 25' at the most. Heating all of the house and this year my finally, nearly finished 24x40' shop. The oil fired boiler in the celler hasn't run for 3 years now, other than to test fire it on ocasion just in case I have another medical emergency, and the wifey cant stoke the wood boiler.
