Hi Jay,
Your yard looks somewhat like mine! Deep snow everywhere! LOL I don't know anything about Ford tractors, but your little fella with FWA looks sweet. I bet that FWA is nice to have. Great lookin' little tractor there. Thanks for sharing the pics. Oh yea, the sled looks like it would be one he11 of a ride too. LOL

Great pics! Looks like your trying to fire up the dozer? One farm I worked on had a d6d cat, I think it was for moving snow. A dozer must push snow like moving dust. Lol. Thanks for the pics.

Yep, I love my little Ford, I don't have a complaint about it, it's a 1994 but only has 1300 some hours on it. I also use it at the farm in the summer for raking and tedding, I probably shouldn't, but the little bugger pulls full hay wagons up a pretty good hill at the farm too, to bring to the barn.

Fired right up, pony is running in picture. Just an old one I keep around home for pulling out trees ect.

It's a bigger tractor, 48hp 4 cylinder vs my 27hp 3 cylinder, but I can't complain about the JD. It is a nice tractor. Cab was nice, but not a factory JD one, owner wanted a gear drive tractor, and JD won't sell you a factory cab unless its a hydro tractor. At least it has heat in it and I liked that! Lol. Also alot of plastic on the JD, hood, fenders ect.

Jay,
Thats a long ways to transport wood from the pile to the stove. I had enough of that ##it last winter and built an attached woodshed on the end of my shop this summer where the wood boiler is, and filled it to the rafters this summer. 16.5 cord. I went over the half empty point last Wed. I don't even have to go out from under a roof to get wood for the boiler anymore. Built this wood cart to wheel it into the shop. 25' at the most.
Heating all of the house and this year my finally, nearly finished 24x40' shop. The oil fired boiler in the celler hasn't run for 3 years now, other than to test fire it on ocasion just in case I have another medical emergency, and the wifey cant stoke the wood boiler.

Ya, I realized that a few years after I put the shed up, I should have put it closer to the house! To late now, lol, I've always been able to get to it though.

Very nice looking tractor. Looks real versatile. With all that snow I fear spring flooding will be serious along major rivers this year.
