you can run kero in a diesel just add some oil to it , my dad use to tell use about the fuel shortage in the late 70's he drove truck then and could only buy so much fuel at a time , when he couldnt get fuel he filled his brand new 350 cummins with kero added a couple gallons of oil to it and away he went, it didnt hurt that engine it was on the road till the late ninty,s also the cummins in the dodge pickup is designed to run on just about anything but gas just tweak the cumputer , heck it will run on jet fuel even local airport has 4 of them on jet fuel for backup gen. sets , but the thinner the fuel the more it will use just because of injector orfice size , but i have worked on them & after time the pistons have a meltdown to much heat i guess
