The gas stations around here that used to have a pump with #1 fuel, normally sold as heating oil, only has a pump with kerosene. Mixing #1 diesel 50/50 with #2 diesel only dilutes the wax as well.
Diluting the wax one way or the other is a whole bunch better that fussing with a tractor in -15º cold with a 20 mph wind.
Last week when I bought 6 gallon of kerosene it was the same price of the #2 diesel on the other hose at the same pump. #2 diesel was higher today at the pump than kerosene.
