have tractors these days who really have never
worked with them. Some old-tractor people I have
met fall into this category also - they like the
old tractors, but don't know how to use them.
When the opportunity arises to use their tractor
for some purpose, they go to it. If yall know
anybody like this, please teach them the basics
about tractor safety. : My farm neighbor in Eastern IN told me this one.
Very tragic but the little boy survived and is
now a teenager or in early 20's. When the boy was
2, the farmer left him in the cab while unloading
beans from the hopper. The farmer climed up to
the top of the grain bin to check on something
with the augur. Up through the augur came 2
little arms which could not be re-attached. It
was late and at night. How many wrongs can you
apply in this unfortunate event? This is the saddest story of all.
