Beef critters or heifers out on pasture don't normally need much foot care. Dairy animals in confinement facilities often do. Just the nature of the game.
Every spring I have a mess of sheep and goats that need trimming. Always amazes me that I can turn them out into rough pasture and 2 weeks later almost all their feet look perfect. It's all the ledge and rock we have. Sure save a lot of hassle for me!
