My wife could of found it with two pieces of copper wire if there was water in the line, she is very gifted! We had a buried well like that when I was growing up, a two line jet system with the pump in the basement. When it would start sucking air the pump would howl like everything! My dad knew exactly where it was and one time he had the hired man dig it up by hand, about 7 feet down. I have never seen a pit less adapter for a 2-line system, so the only other option would of been a well house.
