Find the parts section of this site and purchase yourself a Delco 10si conversion kit WITH tach drive for that tractor.... Non-charging Ford's of that vintage are about as common as snow north of the 49th. Usually the regulator is bad and needs replaced. 2 weeks after you change that the brushes will go in the generator... then the regulator will die again a month later... then the armature will crap out in the gen a while after that. The conversion, despite it's impressive purchase price... is the cheap solution. If you buy it, post back when you do and someone will help you figure out the fitting and wiring...
