You hooked-up and had few if any problems (but you KNEW how to slip gears and clutches)..few are that familiar with their equipment, to try it today.
GOOD brakes were mandatory on all tractors and especially on the smaller ones..
Dropping down a long hill with a JD"B" and 2 loaded wagons (Hay OR Grain must have been something to hear..(Straight Pipe exhaust) The engine over running some and shooting flame out the top.. Then, as you went up the next, the front-end would get into resonance with the power strokes and start dancing up and down..!! Funny tho, I didn't ever need to drop out of 6th gear on our 7-Hills..
