I just don't like to wait around for somebody else to do it. I've heard too many horror stories about getting the wrong thing applied,wrong field sprayed and things like too. The Certification is $50 every three years. They have a review session in the morning before the afternoon test,that was always free/walk in. This year it's by appointment and a $20 charge,so I'll have to drop $70 on it. I suppose I could just try all Roundup Ready,but I've got a fear of resistance on some of this continuous silage corn. It's kind of like a CDL,as long as I have it,I'd just a soon keep it. You can renew with credits from attending meetings without taking the test over and over but I guess I'm not on the right mailing list because I never know when the meetings that give RUP credits are.
