Tractor was an "A" John Deere. I was small enough that I was not able to push the clutch all the way in. Dad had me stand on the platform and push it in enough to make it creep ahead when he said to while he picked rocks. No idea how old I was but could not have been very old! Vehicle was a '52 Ford F-1. Remember to this day trying to ease the clutch out so it would not stall. It was the next year that I really could drive it . Must have gotten longer legs!
