Curious: How competitive are their prices? How busy are they? Big box stores nearby or do they have a captive market?
Just wondering if there is any money to be made now-days in a business run that way. Perhaps they are to the point things are paid for and as long as they cover their store rent and like running the store they work. I like the idea but like many folks I'm on a very limited income and about the only way to make ends meet is dealing with the devil--Walmart, Amazon, etc.
