Man, don't I know what you mean! We lost ours in September, and I still haven't become used to him not being here. Every time I go outside, I expect him to be waiting at the door with that tennis ball in his mouth. He loved to play ball! When my daughter went back to work after my wife died, Bubba helped me hold on to my sanity. I would sit and talk to him about my problems, or cry, and he would just sit and listen, or lay his head on my knee to console me. Few people realize just how intelligent and understanding they are.
