The clutch is surely binding somewhere. Can you see in behind the clutch housing even through a hole,you could spray it through. Maybe the throw-out bearing is binding on the trans shaft. My good friend has a Massey Ferguson I think a 395. He complained about the clutch for 5 or 6 years. I happened to need to drive it and the clutch came up almost to your knee. There was a slot in the petal and I droped it down to the same level as the brakes. He said made it a new tractor. He had talked to the dealer about it a couple of times and they said that was how they all were. Does it even have a clutch? Most newer tractors just have a hyd valve for a clutch.
