My 2007 model JX 95 cab tractor has the hardest clutch I have ever encountered. It is very stiff and I measured that it takes 180 pounds of pressure to fully depress it. That is with a bathroom scale between the pedal and foot.
An internet search did not find anything beyond comments that the tractor is "tiring" to drive. No one offered solutions other than check and lube everything. I do have a loader and the tractor has a standard shuttle forward and reverse, but you must fully depress the clutch to go from forward to reverse.
