I have a kaw 4010 mule. Got a letter from BMV stating I need to now register it with them. In the past UTV's and ATV's were registered with DNR, which my current registration doesn't expire until 6-13-16.
I went to BMV.com to get new plates on line for trailers, OUCH. The BMV shows I have a mule and want $30 to register it.
I sent them an email asking if I have to pay now or wait to 2016.
I really don't mind is BMV takes over. Where I live there are a lot of druggies with mobile meth labs on ATV's and the cops won't do a thing about it. The cops even went on TV stating it's too dangerous to chase them. What a crock.
So ATV & UTV owners be aware on new 2014 law. George
