What we do when it's too nasty to be outside except for outside chores... We need to redecorate a bedroom now that grandkids have moved, taken their markers, crayons and pencils with them. The wall is real plaster with sealer, one coat of oil based paint, and another coat of water based paint. They then thought it would be neat to put a border of 9" decorative Peter Rabbit around the room, about chest high. Border was applied by moistening, and applying to wall. (Water based glue). So ought to come off if I soak it, right? Boarder is covered with some kind of plastic water proof coating. Water will not soak in - just drips off. Any ideas how to loosen that stuff? Wife doesn"t think belt sander is a good plan!
