I live next to the BNSF railroad at the NE-CO border We have many trains a day going south. The closest Elec. Plant to me is Brush Co ( the Pawnee plant) They tell me it uses a trainload ,(110 cars) a day. Also at this plant Wind Power goes to it. We have three big wind farms south of me in CO. The Elec. from them goes all over the country. I have one wind tower on my land now and they are putting 5 more on me. Over 500 wind towers in the Peetz CO area and if you go to Grover many more. For a power plant to use wind effectualy they need to us NG. When wind comes in it takes to long to slow down a coal fired plants and to long to bring it back up when wind ceases to come in. With NG it goes faster so more effecent. A lot of the oil drilling in NE CO and SE WY are NG producers.
