I was just going to ask you what new steel cost. 'Here' I can get new steel for $0.70/lb, so that yard is ripping you off in a big way. I'm really sick of this price differential in Canada. Scrap is around 155-170 here. Logic dictates that if I pay more for EVERY item imaginable, I should get more for something when I sell it. Not so here. I pay more for everything, and receive up to $100/ton less for scrap. There's a price to be paid for 'free' health care I suppose.
