It might erode a lot of people, but there are some that there's nothing left to erode. Like the guy near here who found a fuel card on the pump at the co-op a couple years ago. Filled up and took the card, used it for quite some time, ran up tens of thousands of fuel charges on it. Long story short, card account owner finally put a game camera in an old beater truck with a "For sale" sign, where it could take pictures of the pumps to prove to the co-op it was stolen and catch the thief. And the thief thinks it's funny, laughs because it took so long to get caught.
