That pic sure has similarities to our Maple Sugaring operation. Back in 1957 I was driving either a Case 310 crawler or a Case 300 hooked to single bobbed gathering sleighs. We had both rigs operating to keep up with 2500 tapped trees, in a 60A sugar bush. The pics. were taken last March during the 2013 season. The sleighs were replaced with old Case spreader chasies, and larger 275gal gathering tanks. We filled the woodshed earlier this month and eagerly waiting to tap abour 2200 trees this spring. This is an all bucket operation. The woods is too flat and sprawled out for tubeing. The 4th generation family members, are now involved. I didn't mean to hyjack your post and great pic., but it sure brought back memories of when I was a little kid. Loren, the Acg.
