I was born in Meridian, Miss 1956. My parents moved to Montgomery, Al when dad took a promotion with the old GM&O railroad. Grew up there in the midst of all the Civil Rights era and it was a lot of turmoil there back then. We use to go visit my mothers parents in Walnut Grove, Miss. several times a year, lots of aunts/uncles/cousins/outlaws back there...lol I still remember how small that town was, there was an old fashioned 5&10 store and a few small shops with a small bank. You Yanks just remember...The South Will rise Again!...well, maybe not. :?
