I have had our dog on one for several years now. Works very well for her. She does like to creep up on it and wear down the batteries though. I have a hard time getting good collar units.I liked the lightweight more adjustable ones,but They don't last long. I went back to the old heavy stubborn dog unit I bought used.
I was thinking of getting the wireless kind,but I'm pretty sure after reading how they work that if our power was to go out it would start shocking the dog. We have alot of power outages.
