Rick, I can do without any reply from you, but the truth of it all is to ask your self just why did I ask you if you received the c.d.? Only then did the thanks come out. I thought that maybe the C.D. got lost in the mail. I waited 3 days before I contacted you to see if that was the case.
Now I don't give a ratz azz about your sons in laws inability to place a one shot kill without blowing the deer apart. You are still blaming the gun and NOT THE SHOOTER!!. Our last discussion was about you being inconsiderate, and that still holds true today. seems you took the same position that 4207 had. Proved him a liar and challenged him to produce his imaginary badge number so I could run it to see if he was truthful. Never happened and NEVER WILL. Believe me when I say I can check him out. You can have your opinion on the 300 mag but NEVER spout your beliefs as truth. For your information, if you would take time and check ballistics on Factory loads on the 300, ( I will provide a address) you will see the 240 bullet is slower than the lighter weight bullet 4207 says I should use.

http://www.ballistics101.com/300_winchester_magnum.php

They don't list the 220 round, but the 240 will serve the same purpose.

300 Winchester Magnum JSP 240 3603 2600
300 Winchester Magnum Nosler Accubond 165 3739 3185

So by shooting a light bullet, the speed and power increase thereby when it hits does more jellied unconsumable meat.

You are talking to the hunters at the registration station, taking their word for what they are using without knowing their proficiency of the firearm, THAT IS CAMPFIRE TALK.Another question comes to mind, how much of a marksman are they with their weapon, whether it be the 300 or -06 or 270 or any other caliber they wish to claim they shot it with.If they are destroying the meat as you say they are, they are no hunter/marksman. How many of those license holders (notice I didn't call them hunters) complain about the recoil?

You are still going to respond to people who ask you not to,shows you are still inconsiderate.
So if I feel the need to show certain people who respond to the posts I make as inept, unknowing cidiots, don't complain to me about it.Try complaining to them for opening their mouth spouting off untrue statements. This is my last reply to as I will not respond to you any more, any statements from you will fall on deaf ears and blind eyes.

LOU

Today's Featured Article - A Farmall Story - by Ed Meadors. The year was 1978. Our young family had recently moved to rural Chesapeake, Virginia to a plot of land which would finally allow us to realize our dreams of a huge garden, critters and more lawn and pasture than we would ever use! We needed a TRACTOR; not a riding mower or tractor wannabe, but a real TRACTOR. The answer to our needs materialized in the form of a '44 Farmall A, complete with cultivators, discs, single plow, a 5ft.Woods belly mower and one, mounted spare 9.00x24 rear wheel. ...
