Last Thursday at work, I stepped off the fork truck and my left leg went numb, kinda like it went to sleep but no tingling pain. Then I felt like I was going to be sick and got dizzy for a few seconds. It was all over in a minute or so. I talked to the safety gal and she said to call DR and talk to the nurse. Nurse said she would talk to DR, probably nothing serious. I didn't say anything to SWMBO, no need to excite her. Monday, Drs. office called the house and said I need to come in soon. SWMBO wanted to know what that was about since I had my yearly checkup a week ago and everything was fine. Told her I had no idea, but I would call Dr. They wanted me in right away, made an appointment for after work. When I left work, SWMBO was waiting for me, said she would take me to Dr's. office. We went in and when they called me, SWMBO got up and came in also. BUSTED!!! While waiting for Dr., I had to tell her what happened. SWMBO NOT HAPPY!!! Anyhow, I had to go in for MRI and another test, they think I might have had a mini stroke. I called today, everything tested OK. They upped me from a baby aspirin to 325mg a day. I thank God I'm OK, but SWMBO is still not happy with me. Maybe if I get her the needle nose pliers she wants for Christmas she will forgive me. Chris

Today's Featured Article - Picking Corn - by Rick Nikolich. It was the day before Christmas shutdown at work and I asked our lead engineering expert Scott Andrzejewski what he was going to do over the holidays. He said that he had some corn that he still needed to pick with an antique one-row New Idea corn picker. Scott has a nice farm about an hour north of Lansing in St. Johns, MI. He wanted to get the rest of his corn in by the next day (Christmas Eve). We had about an inch of new snow on the ground and single digit temperatures. So in the bac ... [Read Article]
