The "T" was the culprit in causing so many cancers, because it was polluted with Dioxin during the manufacturing process. Both "T" and "D" are not really bad on their own. And "D" is still in widespread use as a broadleaf herbicide. What many folks don"t know is that "T" was used for forestry site-prep for years but was removed from registry about 30 years ago. So I reckon forestry workers in this country were exposed also.
