I will third what TxJim said. The wet clutch and PTO setup on the JD 4230 is far better than the dry clutch on the JD 3020.
IF RBnSC tries to use the extra horsepower that the JD 4230 engine produces he will find out real quick about how marginal the clutch on a JD 3020 is.
He will have a "different" tractor when he is done.
I would like to be able to find the "cheap" donor tractors RBnSC seems to be able to find. I know they are around in the south as several of the local salvage yards around me buy them all of the time and haul them back up here for the used parts.
