Hesston equipment used to put out a new NFR belt buckle every year, and they became rather collectible...at least back in the '70's and '80's.
I'm just surprised that you've never heard of the NFR. [Must not have owned any Hesston equipment, or visited a Hesston dealer, back in the day.] Bob Eubanks, formerly of "The Newlywed Game" [Saturday nights on ABC] back in the '60's, used to be the main announcer for NFR broadcasts. Not sure if he still does that or not.
Thanks for the link to the belt buckles. My dad had Hesston hay equipment and bought 3 of those buckles each year. Don't have the '74 buckle but have them from '75 all up threw '88 or '89. Plus some youth buckles too.
We always watched the NFR.
