I sold a NH baler to a friend a few years ago, for $500. He paid me with a check. After selling it, I asked a local equipment jockey (another friend) what they were selling for, and he said a good one would bring $500. I considered my baler to be just average, so I sent a check to friend #1 for $100, with an explanatory note. A few days later, I got a check in the mail from friend #1 for $50. I thought about sending him a check back for $25, just to aggravate him, but I let it drop. . .

I'll not take a penny more than $450!!
