Limp Home mode is just that, the computer has seen an error and gone into limp home mode to allow you to do just that, Limp Home. The computer uses basic setting to allow the engine to just be able to run instead of reading the sensors and modifying the outputs for optimum performance. You need to have the codes read and problems repaired to clear the error.
