I simply couldn't tolerate Pioneer any longer. The yields were there but their product just got tired and laid down at every excuse.
We have been using Doeblers for a long time, and now pretty much use them exclusively, only because their product seems to be adaptable to our poor soil conditions here in Northumberland county. It's hearty enough to take a dry year in our shale fields, tough enough to take some creek flooding and still stand and still give us decent yields.
It's not ideal for us, as like the others, it shells out too easily for our ear storage setup, but hey it's no more sensitive to ear bounce than the rest.
