O2 sensor issues can be a handful. With up to 6 on some cars it's hard to keep track of which one is which . I have seen more than one replaced and turned out to be wrong one , done it myself too . then again,remember o2 sensor readings are "cause and effect " . Just because you are seeing low 02 reading /lean ,sensor may be fine . Fuel delivery , vac leak , injector ,etc may be causing it to see lean mixture . There is no "calibration" for oxygen sensors. He may be referring to PCM reflash or update programing . Any shop with a Tech II scan tool and TSI subscription or loaded on laptop should be able to do this as well as any GM dealer ,who by the way , would be required to have this tooling .
