Congratulations! No one ever said life would be easy, I'm glad you and yours have persevered through the hard times. We lived in Wilmington, NC in the late 60's and early 70's and really enjoyed the people, weather, and the ocean. I remember a carton of cigarettes for $1.85 and by the pack at the Clark station for .25 cents. Being yankees, when we opened our mouths, we got some funny looks, but we had a ball down there. We love North Carolina. We also loved Sundrop pop and Gores Fish Camp and going down to Myrtle Beach and Calabash, NC for great seafood.
