Even though you'd like to see your dad slow down a bit, it's that kind of stuff that keeps him going. The best and only thing you can do is move at his pace when he's with you, and savor every minute of it. The day will come sooner than you think when those moments will be gone for good, and you'll wish you had some more of them coming. He's a remarkable man to be doing that at his age, and I can tell by the way you talk that he's been hard working and self reliant all his life. For that kind of guy to back off would be the end of him. Spend the time to make the best of memories from his golden years.

Today's Featured Article - Seeing an Old Friend - by Joe Evans. Dad had a concrete contracting business starting in 1960. One of his first pieces of equipment was a Ferguson TO-35 with a Davis loader. Dad replaced the TO-35 with a MF 202 Workbull, essentially an industrialized Ferguson 35 I am told. Dad bought the 202 new in 1962, and I recall quite clearly going to the dealer with him to sign for it.
