We have had a Speedco 3-point splitter for 30 or more years. We have put a longer 36 in stroke cylinder on it and added to the beam. It has been a good one. New tractors with 3000 psi are hard on it. They will bow the beam a little. The only thing wrong with it is the knife is on the cylinder. You want one with the push plate on the cylinder and the knife on the beam. That way the wood is pushed away from you and not falling right where you step. We have to have someone on the tractor to run the lever, but both grandsons want that job because the tractor has a cab.
