Well after a lot of talking with my wife and some really hard thoughts for a long while three weeks ago I decided to leave the farm full time and farm part time to take a job working for the city highway dept. It was really hard for me to leave the farm but after thinking about what was best for the family and myself it was the rite move for us. With the costs of my health insurance becoming unaffordable for us and not having much to ever be able to retire it made the decision alot easier when I got offered the job with good pay and excellent insurance and retirement plan.
