never heard the can't tow in 5th one, i was told not to lug the engine down in 5th with a load on, i try to keep the engine rpms around 2000 (60mph), i do quite a bit of towing, 24ft flatdeck with 2 7000lb axles and a 18ft stocktrailer with twin 5000lb axles, truck has 300 and some thousand miles on it, so i'm not complaining too much, had just done the clutch though, would have been nice to only take everything off once
