A close friend has a Massey Ferguson 35 Deluxe. We got to talking about it a few weeks ago, and discussing the age of it. He got the serial from it, and I got my book out. His serial is SCF204108. So far, so good. Now for the book. It's a 1960. But the MF 35's started 1960 with serial 204181. Hmmm... And the TO-35 Ferguson started 1960 with 203360, the last year the Ferguson was built. So, it's a TO-35, or it's a MF 35. But it's red, and has MF decals and gauges. But, according to the book, it's a TO 35 and should be grey? It has to have been built on the day of the formation of the new Massey- Harris Ferguson company. To me, that is sort of a landmark!
