Well Deere's info says your 8400 has 30 or 38 GPM depending on which pump it has. They list a 1770 24x30 with CCS and VR drive as needing 25 GPM. I know I've set up a 1790 16/31 split row on a 8300 and it worked fine. The biggest problem was having enough remotes.
