Having run some big equipment over the last ten years, JD's accomplishment is easily understood by those of us who do this work for a living. Pushing machinery today to the limit would amaze people who, only twenty years ago, could call such a feat as stretching the truth. But not anymore. Many outfits around here routinely handle near that amount often in long days of work and high capacity machines.
What bugs me more, is the readiness of some to call something done by others an outright tall tale and flat out state they are liars, especially when they have never met and do not know the person they're calling such. It's kind of like, "I can call you a liar, and you can't punch my teeth in because you can't reach me".
I haven't got a dog in this fight, but I do think a few on here could hold their tongues a good deal more, even if their eyes are rolling.....
